Large rugs work well at fireplaces and bay windows, they also work well under small tables and in studies.
We have a beautiful stock of new and antique large rugs including fine Persian pieces. These fine pieces tend to be very exact in colour and design.
We also have a selection of very interesting 19th century antique rugs from Persia, Turkmanestan and the Caucusus.
The classical pieces tend to be city pieces, the rugs from the south of Iran are generally more nomadic, and more angular in the northwest. The pieces from Turkmenistan on the right of the Caspian sea normally use beautiful rusts and ivorys along with exquisite safrons in some cases.
