We often see old and very large lounge and dining room carpets which have worn with time. To prevent this we recommend that all oriental carpets and rugs should be hand cleaned every seven years and checked over for repairs at the ends, sides and weak areas on the field. This can all be done at a reasonable cost ensuring the continued use and pleasure and also, importantly, maintaining their value.

We are always delighted to uplift your Persian, Turkish, Afghan, Caucasian, Chinese, Pakistani, Indian, Nepalese, and all decorative carpets and rugs for cleaning and repair and advise on the type of repair we would recommend for the piece.

We look after many private collections of oriental carpets, rugs and runners throughout the country.

All our work is carried out by our own restorers at our workshop in the Newbridge Industrial Estate in Edinburgh.
